Ford's passenger-carrying Transit range covers both diesel and fully electric models, giving schools, community organisations, shuttle operators and private-hire fleets a choice of capacities and powertrains. The conventional Transit Minibus offers the greatest seating capacity, while the E-Transit Bus brings electric power to Ford's established large-vehicle platform.
Ford Transit Minibus
The Transit Minibus is Ford's factory-built large passenger carrier, with several lengths and seating layouts allowing operators to balance passenger capacity, luggage space and overall vehicle size. Versions range from the relatively compact L2 through to the extended L4, with the largest configurations accommodating up to 18 occupants including the driver. It is aimed at schools, charities, community transport, shuttle and private-hire operators needing considerably more capacity than a conventional MPV.

Ford E-Transit Bus
The E-Transit Bus provides an electric alternative for operators whose routes suit depot charging and predictable daily mileage. Ford offers dedicated M2 passenger configurations based on the E-Transit, with seating layouts for up to 15 occupants including the driver. Its combination of an established Transit platform and electric power makes it particularly relevant for school, community, hotel, airport and local shuttle work where vehicles regularly return to the same base.
