Suzuki Guide
Suzuki continues to prove that bigger isn't always better. Its UK range is now particularly compact, but each model focuses on low running costs, straightforward engineering and everyday usability.
Lightweight construction and mild-hybrid technology remain central to the Swift, Vitara and S-Cross, while the all-electric e Vitara takes Suzuki into a new era. Available four-wheel drive also continues to give several models an unusual degree of capability for their size.
Current Models
Suzuki Swift (24-)![]() | RRP From : £19,999 Powertrains : MHEV Key rivals : Dacia Sandero, Fiat Grande Panda, MG3, Renault Clio, Toyota Yaris |
The Swift remains one of the lightest and most characterful small cars on sale. Its 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine delivers impressive fuel economy, while compact dimensions and agile handling make it particularly well suited to urban driving. Manual, automatic and ALLGRIP four-wheel-drive versions give buyers more choice than most small hatchbacks.
Suzuki Vitara (15-)![]() | RRP From : £27,299 Powertrains : MHEV Key rivals : Dacia Duster, Ford Puma, Kia Stonic, Seat Arona, Toyota Yaris Cross |
The Vitara may be one of the longest-serving compact SUVs on sale, but its lightweight construction, efficient 1.4-litre mild-hybrid engine and available ALLGRIP four-wheel drive continue to give it a distinctive place in the market. Straightforward controls and sensible dimensions also make it an easy SUV to live with.
Suzuki e Vitara (25-)![]() | RRP From : £24,999 Powertrains : EV Key rivals : Jeep Avenger, Kia EV3, Renault 4, Vauxhall Frontera Electric, Volvo EX30 |
The e Vitara marks Suzuki's move into the electric era without abandoning the brand's traditional focus on compact dimensions and straightforward usability. Buyers can choose between two battery sizes, while selected versions feature dual-motor ALLGRIP-e four-wheel drive. Up to 264 miles of WLTP range makes it a credible everyday electric SUV rather than simply a city-focused EV.
Suzuki S-Cross (22-)![]() | RRP From : £28,049 Powertrains : MHEV Key rivals : Dacia Bigster, Hyundai Kona, Kia Niro, Nissan Qashqai, Peugeot 2008 |
The S-Cross provides more space than the Vitara without becoming a particularly large SUV. Its 430L boot, mild-hybrid petrol engine and available ALLGRIP four-wheel drive make it a practical and uncomplicated family choice, while manual and automatic transmissions broaden its appeal. It prioritises usability and value over fashion-led design.
