MAXUS Pre-Reg Watch: Five Big Discounts Worth Knowing About

MAXUS has become one of the more interesting value brands in the UK commercial vehicle market, with a range that now stretches from diesel and electric vans to pickups and large MPVs. Backed by SAIC Motor, it has steadily built its case around equipment, electrification and aggressive pricing.

That value argument becomes even harder to ignore once pre-registered stock enters the picture. Across five very different models, current advertised prices are sitting thousands below official list, with some of the biggest gaps appearing on the eDELIVER 7 and DELIVER 9. Here are five MAXUS pre-reg deals that stand out right now.

MAXUS T60 MAX
RRP:
£41,994 incl. VAT
Pre-reg: £29,994 incl. VAT
Saving: £12,000 — 28.6%

The latest T60 MAX has plenty of road presence, with black exterior detailing and a large, square grille giving the pickup a suitably tough appearance. Its 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel produces 213bhp and 500Nm, while a 1,050kg payload and 3,500kg towing capacity mean there is proper working ability behind the styling.

Our Yardstick in this class is the Toyota Hilux, and the MAXUS offers much the same basic proposition: a double-cab, four-wheel-drive diesel pickup capable of towing 3.5 tonnes. At under £30,000 pre-reg, however, the T60 MAX manages to deliver that package for considerably less.

MAXUS eTERRON 9
RRP: £63,600 incl. VAT
Pre-reg: £47,994 incl. VAT
Saving: £15,606 — 24.5%

The eTERRON 9 is a much more ambitious proposition than the T60 MAX, with imposing styling, a technology-packed cabin and serious performance from its dual-motor electric powertrain. Its 436bhp output gives it considerably more power than most conventional pickups, with 0–62mph taking just 5.0 seconds.

A 102kWh battery provides an impressive 267-mile WLTP range, while it can still tow up to 3,500kg. At nearly £48,000 pre-reg it is expensive compared with the T60 MAX, but against what similar money buys from established rival brands, the eTERRON 9 looks like a substantial amount of pickup for the money.

MAXUS MIFA 7
RRP:
£49,560 incl. VAT
Pre-reg: £36,000 incl. VAT
Saving: £13,560 — 27.4%

If the Jaecoo 7 is sometimes described as the Temu Range Rover Evoque, the MIFA 7 could almost be the Temu Lexus LM. It follows a similar luxury-MPV formula, with sliding doors, individual second-row captain’s chairs and a plush, tech-heavy cabin, but at a fraction of Lexus money.

At 4.9 metres long, it is a substantial seven-seater, while the 90kWh version manages an impressive 298-mile WLTP range despite weighing around 2.2 tonnes. Add Nappa-trimmed seats, twin 12.3-inch displays, electric sliding doors and a panoramic roof, and £36,000 pre-reg buys a surprisingly convincing luxury shuttle.

MAXUS eDELIVER 7
RRP: £46,435 + VAT
Pre-reg: £19,496 + VAT
Saving: £26,939 + VAT — 58.0%

The eDELIVER 7 is arguably the standout deal here. This is a proper medium van in the same broad class as the Vauxhall Vivaro and Ford Transit Custom, yet at £19,496 + VAT its pre-reg price drops into territory normally associated with much smaller vans. That cuts more than half from list price, making it the biggest saving in this roundup.

It is not short on substance either: depending on specification, MAXUS quotes up to 230 miles of WLTP range, a maximum 1,200kg payload and as much as 8.7m³ of load space. A 360-degree camera, large touchscreen and five-year vehicle warranty add to the package.

There are occasional similarly aggressive pre-reg deals on rivals, particularly the Vivaro Electric, but few medium electric vans combine this much capability with such a dramatic gap between list and pre-reg pricing.

MAXUS DELIVER 9
RRP:
£32,493 + VAT
Pre-reg: £19,296 + VAT
Saving: £13,197 + VAT — 40.6%

The DELIVER 9 is no longer an unfamiliar Chinese newcomer. It has been on UK roads since 2020 and, after several years of fleet sales, has become a relatively common sight. This is a full-size large van with up to 12.9m³ of load space, a 2.0-litre diesel engine and a choice of front- or rear-wheel drive, putting it firmly into Transit, Boxer and Movano territory.

At £19,296 + VAT pre-reg, though, it costs considerably less than most equivalent large vans. For buyers who simply need a lot of usable van for their money, the DELIVER 9 makes a particularly strong value case.

Taken together, these five deals show how aggressively MAXUS is competing on value. The biggest reductions are on the eDELIVER 7 and DELIVER 9, but even the pickups and MIFA 7 are being advertised well below list price.

MAXUS may still lack the badge recognition of some established rivals, but at these pre-reg prices it becomes much harder to dismiss — particularly for buyers more interested in capability, equipment and usable range than the name on the grille.
