Lepas Guide
Lepas is a new brand from Chery International, joining the same wider group as Omoda, Jaecoo and Chery. Its British launch centres on spacious family SUVs with electrified powertrains and a relatively generous level of standard equipment.
The L8 plug-in hybrid is the first model offered here, supported by a developing network of franchised retailers. More compact electric models are planned to follow. The positioning is comfort and design rather than overt sportiness, with seven-year vehicle warranty cover forming part of the appeal. As a newcomer, its long-term UK ownership record and used market are still taking shape.

The L8 is a family SUV for buyers who want plenty of cabin space and equipment without moving into premium-brand pricing. Its plug-in hybrid system suits regular charging and mixed local and longer-distance journeys. Essence covers the basics generously, while Elevate adds more comfort features. The roomy rear seats are a particular attraction.
