Lamborghini Guide
Lamborghini was founded in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, in 1963 and built its reputation around dramatic design, naturally aspirated engines and some of the world’s most recognisable supercars. Today, however, the range has entered a very different era, with every current model now using hybrid assistance.
The Temerario replaces the Huracán with a V8 plug-in hybrid system, while the Revuelto uses electrification to preserve Lamborghini’s V12 flagship formula. The biggest shift has come from the Urus SUV, which has become Lamborghini’s highest-volume model and transformed the scale of the business. The past decade has therefore transformed Lamborghini from niche supercar maker into a much broader global luxury-performance brand.
Current Models
Temerario (25-)![]() Photo: Lamborghini | RRP From : £270,315 |
The Temerario replaces the Huracán and marks a major powertrain change for Lamborghini, swapping the old naturally aspirated V10 for a twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid system. It combines electrification with the brand’s traditional mid-engined supercar layout, delivering huge performance while moving the entry-level Lamborghini into a new technical era. Styling remains unmistakably Lamborghini, with a more modern, aerodynamically focused shape.
Revuelto (23-)![]() Photo: Lamborghini | RRP From : £462,785 |
The Revuelto uses plug-in hybrid technology for a very different purpose, allowing Lamborghini to retain its naturally aspirated V12 while adding electric assistance. The result keeps the drama and character expected of the brand’s flagship, but with substantially more performance and a degree of electric-only driving. It represents Lamborghini modernising its powertrain without abandoning one of its defining mechanical signatures.
Urus (18-)![]() Photo: Lamborghini | RRP From : £213,615 |
The Urus gave Lamborghini an entirely new angle, combining its dramatic styling and performance focus with the space and usability of a large SUV. It has become one of the brand’s biggest sellers and, unlike most Lamborghinis, is now a relatively common sight in major cities. Despite the image, it is genuinely spacious inside, making it far easier to use every day.
