Koenigsegg Guide

Founded in Sweden in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg, Koenigsegg has grown from a small, ambitious start-up into one of the world's most technically adventurous hypercar manufacturers. Producing just a handful of cars each year, the company has built its reputation around extraordinary performance, lightweight construction and innovative engineering.

From the early CC8S and record-breaking Agera to the Regera, Jesko and four-seat Gemera, Koenigsegg has consistently challenged conventional supercar design. Its in-house engines, advanced carbon-fibre construction and unconventional transmission technology demonstrate a willingness to develop entirely new solutions rather than follow established industry practices.

Every Koenigsegg is exceptionally rare, expensive and engineered to push the boundaries of what a road car can achieve.

Used Price From: N/A

Powertrains: Petrol

Key rivals: Aston Martin Valkyrie, Bugatti Tourbillon, Czinger 21C, Gordon Murray T.50, Pagani Utopia

The Jesko Attack is the winged, circuit-minded member of the Jesko family. Its dramatic aerodynamics and fast-shifting gearbox suit an owner who wants a road-legal hypercar with genuine track-day intent. There are two seats and a detachable roof, although the roof cannot be carried aboard. It is an occasion car with the technical theatre to match its appearance.

Jesko Absolut (25-)
Jesko Absolut

RRP From: c. £3,400,000
Pre Reg From: N/A
Used Price From: N/A

Powertrains: Petrol
Dimensions: 4845 × 2030 × 1210 mm
Boot: 150L (100L front + 50L rear)

Key rivals: Aston Martin Valkyrie, Bugatti Tourbillon, McLaren W1, Rimac Nevera, SSC Tuatara

The Absolut exchanges the Attack’s huge rear wing for a longer, smoother shape developed around low drag. It is the Jesko for an owner fascinated by high-speed engineering, although its potential belongs far beyond British public-road limits. The cabin remains a two-seat affair, with the same spectacular doors and a little more luggage space than its winged sibling.

CC850 (26-)
CC850

RRP From: c. £4,400,000
Pre Reg From: N/A
Used Price From: N/A

Powertrains: Petrol
Dimensions: 4364 × 2024 × 1127 mm
Boot: N/A

Key rivals: Bugatti Tourbillon, Czinger 21C, Gordon Murray T.50, McLaren W1, Pagani Utopia

The CC850 revisits the clean shape of Koenigsegg’s early cars but adds a particularly unusual party trick. Its transmission offers a clutch pedal and manual-style shifting alongside an automatic mode. That makes it an intriguing choice for collectors who enjoy operating the machinery as much as admiring it. A removable roof and restrained styling give it a different flavour from a Jesko.

Sadair's Spear (26-)
Sadair’s Spear

RRP From: c. £4,400,000
Pre Reg From: N/A
Used Price From: N/A

Powertrains: Petrol
Dimensions: 4690 × 2030 × 1210 mm
Boot: 100L (50L front + 50L rear)

Key rivals: Aston Martin Valkyrie, Czinger 21C, Gordon Murray T.50, McLaren W1, Mercedes-AMG One

Sadair’s Spear takes Koenigsegg’s track-focused thinking further, with more aggressive aerodynamics and a tightly limited production run. It remains a road-legal two-seater, but its purpose is much closer to a special circuit day than a relaxed cross-country tour. For a collector already familiar with the brand, the appeal is its more concentrated character and rarity.

Gemera (26-)
Gemera

RRP From: c. £2,800,000
Pre Reg From: N/A
Used Price From: N/A

Powertrains: PHEV
Dimensions: 4975 × 1995 × 1295mm
Boot: 200L

Key rivals: Aston Martin Valhalla, Bugatti Tourbillon, Ferrari F80, McLaren W1, Rimac Nevera

The Gemera is the unusual Koenigsegg that makes room for four people. Its large doors open into a cabin intended to carry adults and their hand luggage, giving the brand’s extraordinary engineering a more sociable purpose. It is still an exotic collector’s car, but the attraction is sharing the journey rather than asking everyone else to follow in something ordinary.

Specifications, dimensions and prices were correct at the time of the latest update. Recommended retail prices are official UK list prices, while pre-registered and used values are approximate UK market figures and may vary depending on specification, mileage, condition and location. Recommended retail prices include any applicable UK Government electric vehicle grant where available but exclude dealer discounts, manufacturer incentives and other retail offers.
