Jaecoo Guide

Jaecoo is one of the newest names to arrive in the UK, but it's backed by Chery, one of China's largest and fastest-growing automotive manufacturers. Positioned slightly more upmarket than sister brand Omoda, Jaecoo focuses on rugged-looking SUVs that combine generous equipment, modern technology and competitive pricing.

Early reviews from some traditional motoring publications were mixed, yet strong UK sales and generally positive owner feedback have encouraged a broader re-evaluation of the brand's strengths. Buyers can now choose from petrol, plug-in hybrid and fully electric models, with comfort, practicality and value taking priority over outright performance. For those willing to look beyond the badge, Jaecoo is quickly establishing itself as one of the UK's most successful automotive newcomers.
