Geely Guide

Geely is a Chinese carmaker whose wider automotive group also has interests in familiar names including Volvo, Polestar and Lotus. Its own-brand UK passenger-car business began in 2025 with the electric EX5, followed by a smaller electric hatchback and a plug-in hybrid SUV in 2026.

The range targets mainstream buyers with competitive pricing, substantial equipment and an expanding dealer network. British engineering connections form part of the story, but these are Geely models with their own identities. The challenge now is turning that strong industrial backing into a recognisable standalone brand for UK buyers.
