FIAT Minibuses & Passenger Vehicles

FIAT Professional's passenger-carrying options are centred on the mid-sized Scudo platform and larger Ducato-based minibus conversions. Together they cover hotel, shuttle, community, private-hire and accessible transport roles from compact nine-seat vehicles through to full-size 17-seat minibuses.

FIAT Scudo Combi

The Scudo Combi uses FIAT Professional's mid-sized van platform as the basis for passenger transport. Its relatively compact exterior makes it easier to use around towns, hotels and airports than a full-size minibus, while passenger versions can provide seating for larger groups than a conventional car or MPV. The electric E-Scudo is available in the UK as a six-seat Crew Van, rather than a full nine-seat passenger model, so is covered by TNY's Van Guide rather than listed separately here.

FIAT Ducato Minibus

Ducato-based minibuses are offered in the UK through specialist converters, providing considerably more passenger capacity than the Scudo. Current conversions can accommodate up to 17 seats and are commonly specified for schools, charities, community transport, care organisations, shuttle services and private-hire work. Wheelchair-accessible versions can also be produced with lifts and configurable seating layouts.

FIAT E-Ducato Minibus

The E-Ducato brings a fully electric drivetrain to FIAT Professional's large-van platform, giving specialist converters a zero-emission base for shuttle, community, care and accessible passenger transport. Current UK conversions confirm the facelifted 110 kWh model is already being used as a minibus, while seating layouts can vary substantially according to weight, accessibility equipment and operator requirements.
